Erykah Badu joined The Roots on Jimmy Fallon this past Friday to join The Legendary during their on-air tribute to the late Michael Jackson.  While most of the treats happened between commercial breaks, Questlove was generous enough to pass along this cover of “I Wanna Be Where You Are” which they recorded live in the 30 Rock studio just before the taping began.  Fanstastic stuff here.

Well, I’ve always thought a collaboration from The Roots + Erykah Badu was cool, they go way back to joints like: ‘U Got Me’. Here they performed their tribute together for the late great Michael Jackson. Thank you, ItsAllTheWayLive.

Finally. I really mean that, we have some new content from Rock City. In the near future their gonna drop ‘PTFAO (Put the F’n Album Out)‘ on July the 4th, for free. And their first studio album, ‘Wake The Neighbors’ should also arrive within some time this year. As for the highlight of the track, Chris Brown with coming throgh with the bars, you heard me right, bars. Yes, Chris Brown and bars rapping, lol. I don’t know he was pretty good on hook for Game’s MJ Tribute, maybe we’re heading for a major comback? All in all, the Ransom beat is ripped up.

Interesting how both the album trailers/manifestos for the two album which I’m looking forward to the most release on the same day. But their both exactly how I imagined it. With CuDi, you have some outer-space, crazy, don’t-know-what-to-expect-feel on his project; and with Lupe, you got content, hidden/subliminal messages, stories. It’s all good, can’t wait. KiD CuDi’s ‘Man On The Moon: The End of Day‘ is coming in August, and Lupe’s ‘We Are Lasers‘ later during the year, in December.

Here goes the final version of ‘Eyes On Me’ with Misss Kerriiii Babbyy and Skateboard P, why wasn’t he listed the first time? Now I have to change all my TAG’s, anyways, “Till The Casket Drops” literally does drop after the summer, in September to be precise. P.S. R.I.P. MJ!
