The song was made in 2004 for a commercial of Boost Mobile, but never got released as a single or sthg, unfortunately. I wanted to post this one, becuz the new Kanye single which just came out reminded me of this song right here. It’s still Sunday on some parts of the earth, so here is this week’s Sunday Selection. I chose one of my favorite summer songs ever, since the weather is fuckin cold over here in Germany. Most of you probably know this song, if not -> check it out. Aush had this track on repeat for days now since he found about it lol. He asked me for more songs like these, and I’m still thinkin & searchin.. (I hook u up soon Aush ;D). K’Jon released an album last year which wasnt that bad Imo. This is from 2003 & was featured on the 2 Fast 2 Furious soundtrack. I want summer..

Well, it’s still Sunday on the west coast in Hawaii, and it figures that SOMEthing would come up as I’m doing the SS. BUT.. for this week, I chose Rell’s “It’s Obvious” from 2001′s Transporter soundtrack. Timbaland spazzed on this beat, and I swear he gets no credit for it. Rell, as some might know, was the first R&B artist signed to Roc-A-Fella Records back in the day, dropping “Love For Free” as his first single. It’s a shame but all three of his albums remain unreleased at this point. Hope y’all enjoy!

I suppose that I’m going to have to do this week’s Sunday Selection due to sometime constrains and a plethora of various different circumstances lol. Anyways, recently I’ve re-discovered my ♥ for Justice’s debut album, †. So, on the bonus disk of Japanese Special Edition of the album features this remix of the classic cut D.A.N.C.E. with bars from the ‘new’ Gorillaz member: Mos Def as well as the duo of Spank Rock… All in all pretty rare and something you know I’d like.

It’s Sunday again, that means it’s Sunday Selection time. While I was browsing thru my winamp, I thought I should take this song right here since not many people know it, I guess. Rodney Jerkins,  better known by his nickname Darkchild is a multiple grammy winning producer who worked from Michael Jackson to Destiny’s Child, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Brandy, Ciara, Jennifer Lopez and even Lady GaGa hired him for her latest hit Telephone. He’s one of my all-time favourite producers and I thought this would be a nice way to demonstrate it with a cut from his 2005 instrumental album: Versatility.
